One Milky Way — construction start

Construction has started in The Hague's Binckhorst district on One Milky Way, a 70-metre residential tower with 270 homes. The project, a joint development by Primestone Development and VORM, adds premium office space and a commercial plinth alongside the housing, in one of The Hague's fastest-transforming districts.

A new landmark in the Binckhorst

The Binckhorst is rapidly evolving from industrial zone into a mixed-use urban district. One Milky Way marks that moment literally — as a landmark in the skyline and as a social hub at street level. The plinth provides space for hospitality and amenities that strengthen the atmosphere of the neighbourhood.

The design brings living, working and meeting together in one building. This aligns seamlessly with the municipality of The Hague's ambition to develop the Binckhorst into a fully-fledged urban district.

Together with VORM

One Milky Way is a joint development with VORM. The combination of Primestone's expertise in complex inner-city development and VORM's execution strength means this project has moved from plan to construction with the quality and speed Primestone is known for.

In the period ahead, construction will advance on a development that does not only add homes to The Hague's market, but also creates a place where people want to be — for a moment or for the long run.
