In Amsterdam Sloterdijk, Wasa Student Village has opened after a record construction time of twenty weeks. The village-style complex houses 358 students across seven buildings — and sets a new benchmark for what is possible with modular, timber-driven urban development.

A village in the city

Rather than one large student block, Primestone Development deliberately chose seven separate buildings that together form a village. Timber façade panels in three different motifs create variation and recognisability per block. The result is a scale and streetscape in which students feel at home — not corridor architecture, but a real community.
