Motorkade Amsterdam

Motorkade is part of the Hamerstraat district in Amsterdam-Noord, one metro stop from Amsterdam Centraal on the new Noord/Zuidlijn.

The Hamerstraat district is currently the subject of extensive discussions between the municipality of Amsterdam and the stakeholders involved. In addition to the new Noord/Zuidlijn, at least one new bridge for pedestrians and cyclists will cross the IJ, connecting Amsterdam-Noord with the city centre.

We acquired the site in 2015 and signed a partnership agreement with VORM in 2016. The design — by ZZDP Architects — follows a contemporary line and reflects the new, modern vision for Amsterdam-Noord.
